Former Fab’s participation in the international packaging trade fair Ipack-Ima 2025 in Milan was a great success. The event offered an excellent platform to showcase our latest solutions in forming shoulders for Stickpack and Flowpack applications, while also strengthening our relationships with both existing and potential customers.

Sustainable Materials and Flexible Shapes

At the heart of our exhibition was the presentation of forming shoulders specially designed for sustainable packaging materials, such as paper or recyclable films. Our systems enable the production of a wide range of pouch formats – including demanding types with side seals or angular Twinform pouches – all while maintaining the highest quality standards. This allows us to offer our customers future-proof solutions that are both functional and environmentally conscious.

Visibility on the International Stage

One of the highlights of the trade fair was the award ceremony hosted by the World Packaging Organisation (WPO), which recognized innovations and industry trends. Events like this highlight the central role of technological advancement in shaping the future of the packaging industry and create an inspiring environment for all participants.

Engaging with Key Industry Players

Our booth attracted a wide range of visitors – from machine manufacturers to end users in the food, non-food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics sectors. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive: Former Fab is well known and highly regarded in the industry for delivering top quality and customized solutions. Many discussions focused on current demands such as the processing of paper-based packaging or uniquely shaped pouches.

Next Steps: Deepening Connections and Shaping the Future

Following the trade fair, we now enter a phase of intensive follow-up. This includes strengthening existing relationships, negotiating contracts, conducting personal customer visits, and inviting partners to further discussions at our facilities. At the same time, we are already planning our participation in upcoming trade fairs to continue driving our innovation strategy forward.

A Trade Fair with Real Added Value

The atmosphere at our booth was consistently positive and marked by lively technical discussions. It wasn’t just about showcasing products – we openly discussed concrete challenges, customer needs, and project ideas. For us, Ipack-Ima was far more than just an exhibition – it served as a true driver for new developments and strong partnerships.
