Packing tablets into tubular bags with a minimum consumption of the film material requires a close wrapping of the tablet with the film. The cross-section of the falling tablet is rectangular. A forming shoulder which forms a round tube cross-section is not suitable for this application because the film tube is always too wide. In this case an adapted rectangular forming shoulder would be appropriate.
