Review of Fachpack & Outlook on Next Year’s Trade Fairs

Fachpack is now behind us, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who visited our booth🙏. A particular highlight this year was the presentation by our colleague Roy Holfert in the Innovationbox, a central stage of the trade fair dedicated to new technologies, materials, and trends within the packaging industry.

In his talk, Roy presented the progress we have made in the development of forming shoulders for paper-based packaging and demonstrated how precise design adaptations can significantly improve the processability of modern, sustainable materials. The response afterwards, expressed through questions as well as in-depth discussions, clearly showed that this topic continues to be highly relevant for machine builders and end users across the food, non food, and pharmaceutical sectors.

As always, Fachpack also provided an opportunity to reconnect with long-standing partners, meet new contacts, and exchange ideas with former colleagues. These personal discussions help us better understand current market developments, whether in relation to material trends, product protection, or efficiency improvements in existing lines.

Before we exhibit at Interpack next year, the world’s leading trade fair for the packaging industry, we will make an important stop in February at ProSweets in Cologne 🍬. As a specialized trade fair for the sweets and snack industry, it offers an excellent platform for discussing concrete applications, precise forming shoulders, and customized format solutions directly with machine manufacturers and end users.

The highlight of the year will then be Interpack 🌍. There, we look forward to engaging once again with industry experts about how high quality forming shoulders can contribute to increased efficiency, process reliability, and sustainability, especially in demanding packaging processes and when working with new material combinations.

We are excited about many technical conversations, new impulses, and the opportunity to present our developments to an international audience.
